Sputnik Launched 50 Years Ago - Cleveland Hams Tracked It!
On Monday, November 19th, at the Gilmour Radio Club's meeting, Bob Leskovec, K8DTS, who tracked Sputnik the month it was launched was our guest.
Pictured below are Ed Miller and Bob Leskovec as they were interviewed for local television on the 50th anniversary. Bob brought along displays and a video describing their Sputnik experience as part of the St. Joseph High School (now VASJ) Amateur Radio Club.
