Algebra 1 Online Textbook link and instructions:
Click on the following link to open the algebra I online textbook.
Once there, click on Ohio. Then choose Online Book (bottom left-hand side). You will then need to create a student account. You will need the ISBN from the back of your actual textbook handed out in class. Be sure to choose a login and password that you will remember!
Course Requirements and Expectations:
1. Tests: One per Unit
2. Quizzes: Several per Unit
3. Projects: One or Two spread out throughout the year
4. In-class Activities: Several will be collected and graded
5. Homework: Assignments will be checked daily and periodically collected

Topics covered will include:
1.linear equations and systems utilizing numeric, algebraic, and graphic representations
2.utilize factoring and graphing to solve and work with quadratic equations
3.demonstrate a basic knowledge of operations involving polynomial expressions
4.solve and graph linear inequalities in one and two variables
5.perform operations utilizing properties of exponents to handle a wide range of applications
6.simplify and solve rational algebraic expressions and equations
7.define, identify, and evaluate relations that are functions
8.evaulate and solve a variety of functional expressions and equations
9.demonstrate a basic knowledge of trigonometric ratios and their use in right triangle applications
