Introduction to Fashion Design I Course Description
Grades 10-12

Spring semester
This one-semester course offered to juniors and seniors gives them an understanding of art through the exploration of fashion. Students research the trends in fashion, are introduced to the fashion application of the elements and principles of design, and analyze the role media plays in the fashion world. Various techniques and media are explored.

Prerequisite: Open only to those who have completed Art I
(preference given to Jr.s and Sr.s)

Introduction to Fashion Design II Course Description
Grade 11-12

Spring semester
This one-semester course offered to seniors gives them an understanding of art through a deeper exploration of fashion. Students apply the elements and principles of design to a more diverse array of medium.

Prerequisite: Open only to those who have completed Fashion Design I
(preference given to Sr.s)
